Third Thursday

A free, family-friendly street festival held monthly Downtown Nampa from May through September. 

Each event features a unique theme—like rodeo nights, beach parties, or disco bashes—and includes live music, food trucks, beer gardens, games, and activities such as ax throwing and bumper boats. Local vendors and businesses join in the fun, making it a vibrant celebration of community spirit. It’s the perfect way to spend a summer evening in the heart of Nampa.

Farmers Market

The Nampa Farmers Market is a vibrant weekly tradition running from April through November at Lloyd Square Park in Downtown Nampa. 

Recognized as the Best Farmers Market in Idaho and ranked 11th nationally, it features over 100 local vendors offering fresh produce, handmade goods, baked treats, and more—all sourced within 100 miles. 

With live music and a lively atmosphere, it’s a must-visit for locals and visitors alike.

Nampa Train Depot Museum

Step into Nampa’s railroad roots at the historic Train Depot Museum. This cozy spot is packed with vintage railroad tools, old photos, local stories, and exhibits that show how Nampa grew with the rails. It’s perfect for a short visit or a step back in time with kids. During the holidays, don’t miss Santa at the Depot—it turns into a festive wonderland! It’s charming, nostalgic, and a great slice of local history.

Warhawk Air Museum

This place is seriously cool. From real fighter jets and helicopters to uniforms, medals, and powerful personal stories, the Warhawk Air Museum brings history to life. Nampa Civic Center

The Nampa Civic Center is where the action happens—concerts, comedy nights, plays, expos, and everything in between. It’s a top spot for entertainment in town with a comfy, casual vibe. 

Easy parking, good seats, and events all year long make it perfect for a night out, a family event, or something new to do on a weeknight. Keep an eye on their calendar—there’s always something worth checking out.

Downtown Art Walk

Downtown Nampa is full of unexpected art—colorful murals tucked in alleys, powerful pieces on brick walls, and creative corners made for selfies. 

Take a self-guided walking tour and spot over a dozen murals within a few blocks. Highlights include the giant mural by the library and the ever-changing Wall Street Alley. 

It’s free, walkable, and a fun way to see Nampa’s creative side up close and in full color.

Wilson Springs Pond

Tucked just off the freeway, Wilson Springs is a peaceful surprise in the middle of Nampa. It’s a favorite spot for fishing, quiet walks, and birdwatching—especially at sunrise. Gravel trails loop around scenic ponds with benches, bridges, and wide-open views. Bring your dog, your camera, or just yourself and slow down for a while. It’s simple, free, and feels a world away without going far at all.

Lake Lowell

Big, beautiful, and just minutes from town—Lake Lowell is Nampa’s backyard escape. Go fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding, or just kick back and take in the views. It’s part of the Deer Flat National Wildlife Refuge, so you’ll spot birds, deer, and all kinds of critters. With boat ramps, trails, and quiet picnic spots, it’s perfect for adventure or doing absolutely nothing. Sunrise and sunset here? Unreal.

Deer Flat National Wildlife Refuge

Need a nature break? Deer Flat is Nampa’s wild side—miles of trails, tons of wildlife, and views that make you stop and stare. Home to bald eagles, owls, deer, and more, it’s a favorite for hikers, bird lovers, and photographers. Start at the visitor center, then hit the trails or explore the shoreline around Lake Lowell. It’s peaceful, beautiful, and just far enough away to feel like an escape.

Snake River Stampede

Get ready for one of the biggest events in Nampa—the Snake River Stampede! Held every July at the Ford Idaho Center, this PRCA rodeo packs in five nights of heart-pounding action with bull riding, barrel racing, bronc busting, and more. It’s one of the top 10 rodeos in the country and a proud Nampa tradition. With live music, a parade, family night, and a carnival atmosphere, it’s the wildest week of the year!
