Looking for something fun to do in Nampa this weekend? Here are a few local events, outdoor ideas, live music options, food and wine stops, and easy things to enjoy in and around Nampa from July 24–26.
24–26.
This weekend looks hot, with highs near 100 degrees, so morning activities and evening events will probably feel the best. If you are heading out during the afternoon, bring water, sunscreen, and a little patience with the heat.
When: Saturday morning, 9 AM–1 PM
Where: Downtown Nampa / Lloyd Square Park
Cost: Free admission
The Nampa Farmers Market is still one of the best ways to start a Saturday in Nampa. You can shop local produce, baked goods, flowers, handmade items, food vendors, and enjoy the downtown atmosphere before the day gets too hot.
It is an easy local outing if you want something relaxed, walkable, and close to coffee, restaurants, and downtown shops.
Why go: Local vendors, food, music, and a fun downtown Nampa feel.
When: Friday, 7 PM–11 PM
Where: Midway Park, Nampa
Cost: Free
Silver Screen on the Green is back Friday evening with a free outdoor movie in the park. Bring lawn chairs, blankets, snacks, and bug spray, and enjoy a summer movie night outside.
This is a good pick if you want something family-friendly and free without making the evening complicated.
Why go: Free summer movie night, easy family outing, and a fun way to enjoy the evening after the heat starts to drop.
When: Saturday, 12 PM–5 PM
Where: Huston Vineyards, Caldwell
Cost: Check event details for pricing https://hustonvineyards.com/
If you like wine country, classic cars, and a slower Saturday afternoon, Vintages in the Vines is one of the more unique nearby events this weekend. The event brings together vintage, exotic, muscle, and other unique cars with Huston wine and vineyard views.
Why go: Wine, cars, vineyard views, and something a little different from the usual weekend lineup.
When: July 23–25, evening performances; Saturday matinee also available
Where: Nampa Civic Center
Cost: Ticketed event – https://www.broadwaynampa.org/
Music Theatre of Idaho is bringing The Phantom of the Opera to the Nampa Civic Center this weekend. If you want live music, theater, and a strong indoor option away from the heat, this is one of the best picks.
It is also a nice change of pace if you want something more polished than a casual outdoor event.
Why go: Live theater in Nampa, indoor seating, and a great option for a hot summer evening.
When: Saturday or Sunday afternoon
Where: Caldwell / Sunnyslope area
Cost: Varies by winery
If you want a relaxed weekend outing, take a drive through Sunnyslope wine country. Several wineries are close enough for a simple afternoon trip from Nampa, and the vineyard views are beautiful this time of year.
Because of the heat, this is a good weekend to choose a tasting room with indoor seating, shaded patios, or later-day hours.
Why go: Scenic countryside, local wine, and an easy Nampa-area day trip.
If you want a simple weekend plan, here is a good mix:
Saturday morning: Nampa Farmers Market
Saturday afternoon: Vintages in the Vines or a Sunnyslope tasting room
Saturday evening: The Phantom of the Opera at the Nampa Civic Center
Sunday afternoon: Lake Lowell sunset walk
That gives you local food, live music, scenic views, and a little Treasure Valley wine country without going far.
