Nampa has several great pumpkin patches and fall farms. You’ll also find large corn mazes, fall festivals and haunted attractions within a short drive.

Nampa has several local pumpkin patches, plus a huge straw-bale maze at Shindig Farms. You’ll also find traditional corn mazes and larger fall attractions within a short drive. Here are the best pumpkin patches and mazes in and around Nampa for fall 2026.
Shindig Farms offers one of the most unique fall maze experiences near Nampa. Instead of a traditional corn maze, Shindig builds a huge maze from stacked straw bales.
Visitors wind through towering straw walls while trying to find their way out. The farm also has a pumpkin patch, slides, a corn pit and other activities.
For fall 2026, Shindig added several new attractions, including a barrel ride, more slides and a tire wall.
And if you like your fall fun a little scarier, come back after dark. On select October nights, Shindig transforms the maze into its Haunted Straw Maze, complete with live scares.

Best for: A unique maze experience, families, teens and groups

ATN Tip: Don’t confuse this with a small hay-bale maze for young children. Shindig’s straw maze is a major attraction and is designed for visitors to actually get lost in.
Wissel Farms has deep roots in Nampa agriculture.
The family farm dates back generations and grows a wide variety of local produce. Fall brings pumpkins and other seasonal favorites.
Wissel Farms works well for anyone who wants a simple local farm stop instead of an all-day fall festival.
Location: 11085 Lake Lowell Avenue, Nampa
Best for: Local pumpkins, seasonal produce and supporting a longtime Nampa farm

The Berry Ranch offers a completely different experience.
This is a real working farm rather than a large fall amusement attraction. If your idea of pumpkin picking involves walking into a field and choosing your pumpkin from the vine, put this one on your list.
The 2026 pick-your-own pumpkin season starts Friday, September 25.
On Saturdays, you can take a hayride to the pumpkin patch from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday hayrides run from 1 to 6 p.m.
During the week, visitors can walk to the pumpkin patch from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The farm also sells gourds, winter squash, cornstalks, straw and seasonal produce.

Weekday pumpkin picking: Monday through Friday, 10 a.m.–1 p.m.
Saturday hayrides: 10 a.m.–6 p.m.

Ten Mile Farms opens its 2026 season on September 11.
The farm has a full corn maze plus a smaller maze for young children. It also offers a pumpkin patch, hayride, barrel trains, straw-bale slides and a large corn pit.
Most activities come with admission. Pumpkins cost extra.
Ten Mile Farms estimates the drive from Nampa at about 20 minutes.

This is one of the closest options if you live in Nampa and specifically want a traditional corn maze.
Pumpkin Palooza brings a different kind of fall experience to Meridian.
Instead of a traditional farm, think urban pumpkin patch mixed with carnival fun.
The 2026 attraction includes a hay maze, corn pit, petting zoo, inflatables, carnival games, mechanical bull, wagon ride and other activities. You can also buy pumpkins.

Monday–Thursday: 4–9 p.m.
Friday–Sunday: 9 a.m.–9 p.m.
Location: 1133 W. Chinden Boulevard, Meridian
General admission: $5 per person; ages 2 and younger enter free
Best for: Kids who want rides and activities along with pumpkins
Some attractions require additional tickets.
Cherry Hill Farms combines a pumpkin patch with one of the area’s larger corn mazes.
Its 8-acre corn maze has two routes. Younger children can tackle a smaller hay-bale maze instead.
The Fall Festival also includes a jumping pillow, barrel cart rides, tube slides, farm animals, a straw-bale maze, cherry-pit sandbox and tractor-tire playground.
Don’t leave without visiting the pumpkin patch.
2026 Fall Festival: September 25–October 31
Hours: Wednesday–Saturday, 10 a.m.–2 p.m. and 5–8 p.m.
October 31: Closes at 3 p.m.

Best for: Corn mazes, families and a Canyon County fall outing
Cherry Hill also grows apples. Its 2026 Apple Days take place October 23 and 24, making that weekend an especially fun time to visit.
If you want to turn pumpkin picking into an entire day, Lowe Family Farmstead is hard to beat.
The farm has hosted Idaho’s Original Corn Maze since 1997. The maze now covers about 14 acres and gets a new design each year.
A smaller Mini MAiZE gives young children an easier option.
Then there are the pumpkins.
The farm grows more than 50 varieties of pumpkins and gourds. You can pick them directly from the patch.
The attraction list goes far beyond pumpkins and corn. You’ll find tractor-drawn hayrides, jumping pillows, slides, train rides, pig races, farm animals, a ropes course and many other activities.
Lowe Family Farmstead is not a haunted attraction. It focuses on family-friendly fall fun.

If your ideal October night involves getting scared, you have options close to Nampa too.
Shindig Farms turns its giant Nampa straw maze into a haunted attraction on select October nights.
Instead of walking through rows of corn, you make your way between towering walls of straw while live characters wait inside.
Because it’s right in Nampa, this is one of the easiest choices for a local Halloween night out.

If you want a full haunted attraction, head toward Caldwell.
The Haunted World has long offered a much more intense Halloween experience than a family pumpkin patch.
Plan this one for older kids, teens or adults who actually want to be scared.

Pumpkin patches aren’t the only way to celebrate fall. Nampa also hosts several community events during September and October.
Downtown Nampa celebrates the city’s birthday during September’s Third Thursday. Expect an evening centered on downtown businesses and community activities.

Downtown Nampa’s annual Trick-or-Treat has become one of the city’s biggest Halloween traditions. Families can dress up and visit participating downtown businesses for candy.

If you want a simple, free Halloween activity for younger children, this is one of the best choices in Nampa.
You don’t need kids to enjoy fall around Nampa. For a casual fall date, try a challenging corn maze at Cherry Hill Farms or Lowe Family Farmstead. Shindig Farms also works well for adults who want something more active.
If you prefer an evening out, Downtown Nampa’s fall events offer another option.
And once October arrives, the haunted attractions make a much better choice for adults who have no interest in spending two hours watching kids jump into a corn pit.
Fall fun doesn’t have to cost $100 for a family!
Start with Downtown Nampa’s free community events. Nampa’s Birthday Third Thursday, Viva Nampa and the annual Downtown Trick-or-Treat all offer free admission.
For pumpkins, consider one of Nampa’s traditional farms if you don’t need a long list of attractions.
You can also make your own fall afternoon. Grab a pumpkin, stop for a seasonal treat and take a drive around Lake Lowell as the weather cools.
September afternoons can still feel like summer in the Treasure Valley. October evenings can turn cold quickly.
Dress in layers. Wear shoes that can handle dirt, straw and uneven ground.
Weekends also get busy as Halloween approaches. Go earlier in the season or visit on a weekday if you want smaller crowds.
Most importantly, check the attraction’s website before leaving home. Farms may change hours because of weather, crop conditions or special events.
Shindig Farms, The Berry Ranch and Wissel Farms offer pumpkin and fall experiences in Nampa. Shindig Farms has the most activities. The Berry Ranch offers a more traditional working-farm and pick-your-own experience.
The Berry Ranch in Nampa starts its 2026 pick-your-own pumpkin season on September 25. Lowe Family Farmstead in Kuna also lets visitors choose pumpkins from its large pumpkin patch. Other area farms offer pumpkin patches during the fall season.
Ten Mile Farms in Meridian is one of the closest traditional corn mazes to Nampa. Cherry Hill Farms in Caldwell has an 8-acre corn maze, while Lowe Family Farmstead in Kuna has a much larger corn maze. Shindig Farms in Nampa also has a huge maze, but instead of corn, its maze is built from stacked straw bales.
